North Park University and MMC have designed this program to allow Orthodox women students to obtain a professional degree without compromising their halachic or hashkafic standards.
Who We Are

North Park University is a fully-accredited liberal arts university located on Foster Avenue in Chicago. The University offers 40 different majors, including many in the health sciences, education, computers, and the arts. North Park University has a strong commitment to working with students from the observant Jewish community to ensure their unique needs are met.

Machon Miriam Chana's goal is to enable Jewish women in all stages of life to engage in learning that nurtures them spiritually and gives them ongoing chizuk to perform the critical roles women are given in Klal Yisroel.
The Program
- Students enrolled at NPU are eligible to participate in the new Jewish Studies program.
- This program is specifically designed for Orthodox Jewish women. Holiday schedules as well as other concerns for Jewish women -- yichud, kashrus, study partners, etc. -- are addressed through this program.
- Elective credits and non-major courses needed for a degree can be fulfilled with local classes in a variety of Limudei Kodesh subjects taught by Machon Miriam Chana.
Why JSP
